How the Squad Was Formed

Built by a coach, for coaches. This is the story behind SquadProfile.

What SquadProfile is

SquadProfile is a free stat-tracking app for high school and club lacrosse teams and the stat record for high school lacrosse. Team statkeepers record games live from the sideline. Season leaders and standings are public by state and section; full team stats stay with the team. Men's and women's lacrosse, built by a coach.

450+ programs have recorded 265,000+ stats across 3,600+ games with SquadProfile.

A process that never got better

Every lacrosse season, a parent volunteer tracks stats with a pen-and-paper scorebook on the sideline. At the end of the year, someone compiles it all by hand. Page by page. Game by game.

The AD asks for team records. Parents want to know how their kid is doing. The answer is always the same: tally everything into a spreadsheet, then start from zero next season.

Baseball has advanced stat tools. Basketball has them. Lacrosse programs were stuck with the same manual process, and nobody was building something better for the community.

What this means for your team

SquadProfile replaces the paper scorebook. A stat keeper tracks the game with a few taps. At halftime, your staff can see where shots are coming from and whether you're winning the ground ball battle. After the game, stats are done. Share them with your AD, players, or parents.

Between games is where the data really works. Plan practice around what the numbers show. Sit down with a player and talk about their performance with actual data. When a parent asks how their kid is doing, the answer is already there.

At the end of the season, your records carry forward. No more starting from scratch.

Where we are

450+ programs have recorded 265,000+ stats across 3,600+ games with SquadProfile. Founded by a coach and player with nearly two decades on the sideline, it's built for the coaches, stat keepers, and parents who show up to the field every week.

Lacrosse teams deserve the same caliber of tools that mainstream sports take for granted. That's what SquadProfile is here to build.
