Who records the stats

Team statkeepers record every stat live in the SquadProfile app as the game happens: coaches, assistants, and parent volunteers on the team's own staff. Goals, assists, shots, ground balls, caused turnovers, draws or faceoffs, saves, and more, each tied to a player. SquadProfile does not scrape other sites or enter stats after the fact.

How stats reach this site

When a game ends, each player's totals roll into their season totals, and those totals feed the leaderboards and standings for the team's state, section, and class. Public pages refresh within 15 minutes.

What's included

Leaderboards and standings cover varsity high school teams that keep stats with SquadProfile, boys and girls lacrosse. A page shows the stats its teams recorded and nothing else: no estimates, no projections, no stats copied from elsewhere. The current season is the most recent spring season that has started. Earlier seasons are available by year.

What's not included

Teams that don't keep stats with SquadProfile. JV, club, and youth teams track in the same app, but they don't appear in public leaderboards or standings yet. Games a team hasn't entered.

Player names

Players appear under the names their team's staff entered. Season leaders and standings are public. A team's full roster stats stay with the team and the people it shares them with.

Corrections

A fix starts with the team. Any statkeeper on the team can edit a stat in the app, and the public pages pick up the change on the next refresh. To report a problem with a page, or to ask about a name that appears here, email stats@squadprofile.com.
